Kids with Cameras is an arts education organization based in New York City. The company focuses on teaching photography techniques to children across all five boroughs. We currently offer small classes, after school programming and workshops in various schools, museums and organizations across NYC.

At its core, KWC aims to provide a creative outlet for children to express themselves. Giving children the opportunity to use DSLR cameras shows them the trust and respect we have for them as individuals, and all of our students truly are artists in our eyes. Children morph into photographers during a KWC class, and watching their confidence grow is incredible. All students create a photo portfolio, where they become the authors of their work. They have complete creative control of this process and sitting with a child as they walk you through the photographs they have taken, you are able to see the pride and passion within each of them.
